Jay is training for the Leadville Trail 100 Mile Run which is a 50-mile out and back running race in the midst of the Colorado Rockies. He will run the race this Saturday, August 21st, one day after Christy's birthday. You can also learn more about Jay's endeavor at his link:

Hey Christy! Just wanted you all to know that Kimi is headed to Leadville Friday to represent the Delaney Fam at the big race!! She'll be there for the start Sat. morning around 3 a.m. We'll try to get word to Jay that one of your family members is in the crowd, cheering him on! I'm sure he can use all the support he can get, given the extreme conditions of this crazy race. I'm so glad he's doing this...GO JAY!!
